Fine Art Prints of Distinction

$7.99

A Museum Quality Art Print of The Thomas Jefferson Building in Washington DC. This grand structure is the oldest of the 3 buildings that house the Library of Congress and was built between 1890 -97. It has some of the richest inside interiors of any building in the United States. Prior to the construction of the Thomas Jefferson Building, the American Library was housed in a wing at the US Capitol Building.  The former President was honored because his personal library was the beginning of the Library of Congress, when he sold it to the newly formed United States after the British burnt the Capitol in the War of 1812.

At Fine Art Prints of Distinction we use only the best papers, inks and printers to make our premium quality prints, resulting in beautiful, archival reproduction artworks that will last in your home for generations and at a low cost so anyone can now have great art hanging in their home or business. Brandywine General Store is proud to offer for sale a Premium Fine Art Print made from a photograph in the Highsmith collection entitled The Thomas Jefferson Building in Washington DC.
