Fine Art Prints of Distinction

A Museum Quality Print of the Shackleford County Courthouse in Albany, Texas. This historic Second Empire style structure was built in 1883 and was the first courthouse in Texas to be restored under the Historical Commission's Courthouse Prevention Program. Kilted Scottish Masons erected the walls of stone for the courthouse, quarried a few miles southwest of Albany, the county seat. The budget for this grand seat of government was $27,000.00 but the final cost was $49,433.75. The clock tower was added at a later date.
