Fine Art Prints of Distinction

$7.99

A Museum Quality Print of Miners in the Sierras painted by German American artists Charles Christian Nahl and August Wenderoth in 1852. These two artists were refugees from the revolution in Germany in 1848. They came to California to find their fortunes, not in mining, but in business. They established a studio in San Francisco CA and painted the first wave of prospectors during the gold rush. The miners are wearing red, white and blue shirts signaling the importance of the state of California to the United States.

Fine Art Prints of Distinction painstakingly repairs the original files of these old paintings or prints, as much as they can be repaired without ruining the original intent of the artist. We then print with the best inks, papers and printers.
