The artist finished this oil on canvas in the year 1887 with the original size being 24 by 16 inches and now located at the Bilbao Fine Arts Museum in Spain. It is signed in lower right on the blue cabinet that the boy is cleaning. The composition shows a young boy cleaning on the boat, he is no older than 10 or 12.
