An archival art print of The Running Fox on a Fine Horse – Saukie, painted by American West artist George Catlin in the 1860s. When Catlin exhibited these Native American paintings in New York in 1871, he published a catalog listing all the works on display. The Running Fox on a Fine Horse – Saukie was described thus:
"a. — Kee-o-kúk (The Running Fox); mounted on a fine horse purchased on the frontier for $300. 1834."
