Barns on the Benjamin Powell Farm at Williamsburg Art Print

A Museum Quality Print of Barns on the Benjamin Powell Farm in Williamsburg. This scenic landscape shows a large barn which would have been used to hold the hay and grain, if there was any available, to feed the animals thru the winter months. The smaller building was probably used to keep a couple animals such as horses. A lantern is hanging at the door and over the eaves so the Powells could have light at night if they needed to do any work in the barns. These would probably have burnt some type of animal fat as kerosene wasn't yet available in colonial Virginia. Picture #465 an original historical art print by Brandywine General Store.
