Mexico City is surrounded by scenes of native life and the Spanish conquest of the native Aztecs as well as images of the Temple of the sun and a mining operation. Other smaller insets include the Straits of Magellan, Table Bay in South Africa, Porto Bellow, Straits of Gibraltar and the Isthmus of Panama.
