An archival premium Quality Art Print of Jesus Among the Doctors in the Temple by Paolo Veronese for sale  by Brandywine General Store. The artist finished this work of art in the year 1558 with the original now being at the Museo Nacional del Prado. Veronese liked to portray eloquent scenes full of figures inside a magnificent architectural frame. In this painting, which is no exception, shows the young boy of Jesus talking and debating the Doctors in the Temple. There are an important number of figures in the scene, dressed in luxurious clothes, in this which is Jesus third day in the Temple. The young Christ is the main figure in the painting, reinforcing his oratory with his gestures, while the doctors, in different positions, listen attentively or chat among themselves. Among the doctors, one man who is listening is wearing the habit of the Knights of the Holy Sepulcher, and he could have been the person who commissioned the painting. In the background Mary and Joseph, helped by the villagers, are searching for their son. They have lost him in the temple and they never think to look at the groups of discussions, even though they have come within hearing distance of the lost child. The coloring is varied and rich, as a result of the artist's interest in showing us the outfits worn by the Venetian high society and the important figures who visited the city, which was open to the World because of its trading routes.
