A Museum Quality Art Print of a Wheat Field with Crows by Vincent Van Gogh. This painting was completed by Van Gogh July 10, 1890 and for a long time this was thought to be the last painting the artist completed before his suicide. However it is now fairly certain that this was not his last work, Auvers Town Hall and Daubigny's Garden are now thought be post date Wheat field with Crows. At any rate, this was definitely one of his last pieces of artwork, if not the last. This was painted on a double square canvas and the scene depicts a dramatic cloudy sky filled with crows over a wheat field. Now located at the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. A fairly complete provenance is known about this landscape, the first owner was the brother of Van Gogh, Theo who owned it from 1890 - 1891, then passed to Johanna Van Gogh Bonger of Amsterdam who owned it until 1925 when it passed onto W. V. Van Gogh of Laren, Netherlands who had possession until 1962 when the Van Gogh Foundation acquired the painting and had it until 1973 when it passed onto the hands of the Van Gogh Museum who still own the painting.
