Unknown Artist - Mahantango Valley Farm Folk Art Print
A Museum Quality Reproduction Print of Mahantango Valley Farm by an Unknown Artist. Not much is known about this folk art painting only the farm is in Pennsylvania, as most likely the artist was also. The oil on window shade was completed sometime during the latter part of the 19th century. This was a wealthy landowner as is evident by the buildings, fences and overall appearance of the farm itself. The barns are on the left side of the lane, while the main farmhouse is on the right side, all these buildings have red roofs. Further up the road you can see a schoolhouse or Church, an orchard and many more neat lots that are fenced with fruit trees along the fence rows.
