The Luxembourg Gardens are a 25 hectare oasis on the Paris fashionable left bank. This garden is full of statues, such as this one of Shopin, flowers and fountains. There are also many attractions for the children, ponies, merry go rounds, puppet shows and etc. Queen Marie de Medicis created the Luxembourg Gardens in 1612, she commissioned the Palace on the model of the Palazo Pitli, from her native Florence.
