Morland, George - Winter Landscape Fine Art Print
A Museum Quality Print of a Winter Landscape by the artist George Morland. This oil on canvas measures 27.5 by 35.5 inches and now hangs in the Yale Center for British Art, it is signed and dated in the lower right corner "G. Morland 1790". The scene shows a cold, snowy winter scene with a large frost covered tree to the left which is beside an old stone home. There are two horses under the tree and along the almost frozen over creek. Beside the creek are two men who look like they are making snowballs to throw at an old woman who is walking with a cane. But this looks out of place for a painting from this period, as elders were respected in this time, so maybe this represents something entirely different. At any rate, a very good looking picture.
At Fine Art Prints of Distinction we painstakingly repair the original files of these old paintings and print them using premium quality inks and paper.
