A Museum Quality Print of the 1912 movie poster for Mabel's Lovers for sale by Brandywine General Store. This was a very early short romantic comedy film starring Mabel Normand and directed by Mack Sennett. Mabel has many admirers, and when she arrives at the summer resort she receives a number of proposals of marriage. Unable to decide, she determines to put the men to a test, so, before going bathing she fills her stockings with ugly bumps. When she discards her coat her unsightly limbs cause the men to heat a hasty retreat, with the exception of Black, who peeped when she made herself up. At the top of this vintage movie ad is Tyler Film Co and at the bottom is Keystone Film Company. Picture #154
