A Museum Quality Art Print of the Red Squirrel by Hans Hoffman. This watercolor and gouacha on vellum was completed by the artist in the year 1578 with the original artwork size being 7 by 10 inches. The subject matter is simple, just a red squirrel setting on the ground on his back feet while his front two legs are holding a nut which he is eating. Keep in mind that this art is over 400 years old and does show a lot of wear which can't be removed without ruining the original vision of the artist. We have also added a black keystone frame around the subject, which we think looks better. However, this print can be made without the black frame, if you do not want it you will have to leave a message stating so.
At Fine Art Prints of Distinction we painstakingly repair the original files of these old paintings and print them using premium quality inks and paper. The end result is a beautiful, archival reproduction print that will last in your home for generations and at a low cost so anyone can now have great artworks hanging in their home or business. Brandywine General Store is proud to offer for sale a Premium Fine Art Print made from a historic painting entitled a Red Squirrel by Hans Hoffman.
