Greco, El - Saint James the Younger Fine Art Religious Print
An archival premium Quality art Print of St. James the Younger by El Greco for sale by Brandywine General Store. This painting was completed sometime around the year 1600. This is a study of a male head that is turned slightly to the right and is painted with such broad bush strokes that they left many bare surfaces and almost looks like it was a sketch instead of a painting. Some art historians think this might have been a self portrait of El Greco dressed in Apostle garb, but this has not been proven. Others think this more resembles the pictures of the younger Saint James. Religious art print #52
