An archival premium Quality art Print of One of George Lane Fox's Winning Greyhounds, the Black and White Greyhound Bitch, Juno, also called Elizabeth by George Garrard. This long titled canvas was painted by the artist George Garrard in 1822. This oil on panel artwork measures 11.7 by 14 inches in size and the original canvas now hangs at the Yale Center for British Art in New Haven Connecticut. Fox lived from 1793 to 1848 and was a British landowner and Tory politicican. He served in the Parliament for Beverly in 1820, a seat he held until 1826 and then again from 1837 to 1840 when he was succeeded by his brother Sackville Lane - Fox. This art is signed and dated in black paint in the lower right corner and was bequeathed to the Yale Center for British Art by Paul Mellon in 2001. Country Decor art print #79
