A Museum Quality Poster Print of the Coffee County Courthouse in Elba, Alabama, this county was named after General John Coffee a soldier in the Creek War of 1813 to 1814. Coffee County has two county seats. One at Enterprise and this one located at Elba. The present Elba courthouse, constructed in 1903, survived the floods of 1929 and the 1990s. Although high water stains remain on the walls, this building continues to serve the western division of the county.
