District of Columbia 1954 Wheaties toy license plate
1954 Washington DC Wheaties toy license plate for sale by Brandywine General Store. Wheaties used these small metal license plates in their cereal boxes for a promotional item which proved to be very successful. Even though this is dated 1955 the plate is from the 1954 set, it is how DC dated their license plates at that time. This is about the rarest of the Wheaties plates, you had to send in for the DC tag, there were none put in the cereal boxes.
