Chandler, Joseph Goodhue - Girl with Kitten Art Print

Fine Art Prints of Distinction

A Museum Quality Art Print of a Girl With a Kitten by Joseph Goodhue Chandler. The folk artist painted this portrait sometime during the years 1836 to 1838 and most likely the sitter was from the Rutland, Vermont area. The size of the original oil on canvas is 48 by 28 inches and was donated to an American Museum by the Chryslers in 1980. The painting shows a young girl in a white dress and black shoes holding a bouquet of flowers in one hand. In the other hand she is holding a red leash with a mean looking cat on the other end.

Fine Art Prints of Distinction painstakingly repairs the original files of these old paintings or prints, as much as they can be repaired without ruining the original intent of the artist. We then print with the best inks, papers and printers. The end result is a beautiful, archival reproduction print that will last in your home for generations and at a low cost so anyone can now have great artworks hanging in their home or business. Please don't confuse our prints with the mass produced prints on cheap poster type papers, our works of art are a much better quality and made one at a time in our family business. Brandywine General Store is proud to offer for sale a Premium Fine Art Print made from the painting entitled Girl With a Kitten by Joseph Goodhue Chandler.
