A Museum Quality Art Print of Charles H. Sisson by Joseph Goodhue Chandler for sale by Brandywine General Store. The artist painted this child's folk art portrait in the year 1850. Charles H. Sisson also died in this same year at the young age of 3 years and 10 months. The original itinerant oil on canvas measures 48 by 25 inches in size and was gifted by William and Bernice Chrysler Garbisch to an American Museum in 1980. This tramp art painting shows a young well dressed boy standing in a lane with well kept homes behind him. He has a small riding crop in his right hand and is pulling a homemade wooden toy with the other hand. This scene is somewhere in Connecticut.
