Brueghel, Jan the Younger - Bustling Village Landscape with Trees Fine Art Print
A Museum Quality Print of a Bustling Village Landscape with Trees by Jan Brueghel the Younger. The original artwork was an oil on panel and measures 16 by 21 inches in size. The scene shows a prosperous medieval village with a path going through the middle with buildings on each side. Most of the cottages have thatched roofs but one tall double story building on the left has a slate or more permanent roof of some kind. The village well is in the lower left corner with a woman coming to fill 2 buckets with water to take home with her. Other people are standing around talking. Other buildings are visible in the distance with what looks like a pond in the center, where a man is watering his horse. As the name suggests several tall trees are scattered throughout this small town. A very nicely done early artwork.
