1996 Illinois National Bicycle Month License Plates
A pair of 1996 Illinois National Bike Month License Plates which was a special event plate from the state, this pair of car tags is white, blue and red with the state slogan, Land of Lincoln printed across the top and below that is National Bicycle Month, May 1st - 31st. At the bottom is Illinois 1996. In the center is a bicyclist riding his bike which is all in red. The condition of these tags is new old stock near mint. Illinois produces these special event license plates which can be run on automobiles for a period of 2 months, there is a cardboard paper included with this pair that explains this. We have more than one pair of these 1996 Illinois Special Event License Plates available for sale at Brandywine General Store, so you might receive a different DMV number, but all will be the same NOS Near Mint condition.
