1951 District of Columbia License Plates
An antique pair of 1951 District of Columbia passenger car license plates, the color of these '51 DC DMV automobile tags is yellow with black letters with DC and 1951 both located at the top. These are "shortie" tags and have a nice low 4 digit department of motor vehicle registration number of 8248 with the condition being very good. Some of the new car models introduced during the model year of 1951 were the Hudson Hornet, Nash Healy, Chrysler K-310, during this year Chrysler also introduced power steering and Plymouth came out with the Belvedere and the Cranbrook. The wealthy crowd had several new luxury cars to choose from this year including the Jaguar C Type, Ferrari 195 and 212 and Mercedes Benz came out with the 300 series.
