A Museum Quality Art Print of a 1928 Ford Model A for sale by Brandywine General Store. Our premium archival artwork shows a new shiny blue two door convertible from the first year of production of the Ford Model A in 1928. Henry Ford had relied on the venerable Model T for too long, by this time he was losing sales to Chevrolet and other manufacturers with their newer models. After selling the ubiquitous Model T for 18 years, Ford took the unprecedented step of completely closing his factories for almost a year to retool for the new Model A. The first Model A was manufactured on October 20, 1927 but was designated a 1928 model. This new car came standard in four colors, so the famous all black was gone. Prices for the Model ranged from 385.00 for the roadster up to 1400.00 for the top of the line town car. The Model A was available in a wide variety of styles, the coupe, business coupe, Sport Coupe, Roadster Coupe, Convertible Cabriolet, Convertible Sedan, Phaeton, Tudor Sedan, Town Car, Fordor, Victoria, Station Wagon, Taxicab, Truck and a Commercial Model. The Model A was produced in Dearborn Michigan and Windsor Ontario, through 1931 and had total production of 4,849,340. Picture #04
