Rusinol, Santiago - Garden of Montmartre Fine Art Print
An archival premium Quality art Print of Garden of Montmartre by Santiago Rusinol for sale by Brandywine General Store. This oil on canvas was painted in 1890 with the original size being 13 by 16 inches in size. This Spanish artist was born in Barcelona in 1861 and died in Aranjuez in 1931. He was the son of rich textile manufacturers and stood to inherit a great fortune, but even with this financial wherewithal he still got into painting. The scene is drab in color, showing an alleyway in this French City with a built up earthen wall in which trees are planted, beyond are the buildings of the city. The only colors are brown and grey with some pale greens on the shrubs. Still a nice looking print even without bright coloring. Famous artists print #107
