This beautiful scenic landscape of the famous Capitol Building of the Mountain State shows plainly the golden dome and its Colonial Revival - Italian Renaissance architecture. The entire Capitol Building was designed by Cass Gilbert and was built in 3 sections. The east wing and west wings were built separately, then the rotunda was constructed in the center and connected the two wings.
