A Museum Quality Art Print of Seneca Rocks Spring Close Up View with Dogwood for sale by Brandywine General Store. Our premium artwork shows a spring close up view of this popular tourist attraction in Pendleton County West Virginia. These rocks are a favorite destination of rock climbers from all over the eastern United States. You can play a parlor game with this print and have your friends find the climbers. I believe in this shot there are 2 rock climbers climbing and one that has already conquered these cliffs and made his way to the top. Some nice summer days you can see up to a dozen or more climbers on the face of this Tuscarora Quartzite formation which rises almost straight up over 900 feet. This is one of the top three tourist attractions in the state of West Virginia. The North Fork of the South Branch of the Potomac flows in front of Seneca Rocks, this river is famous for its cold clean waters and trout fishing. This close up view of the rocks is framed on the right by a white dogwood tree that is in full bloom. The village in which these rocks are located used to be known as Mouth of Seneca, but now is simply known as Seneca Rocks. Picture #126
