1973 District of Columbia Inaugural single License Plate
A single 1973 Washington DC Inaugural license plate for sale by Brandywine General Store. The 73 DMV DC plate was issued in celebration of Richard Millhouse Nixon becoming president of his 2nd term of which he was elected in 1972. The color of the plate is red, white and blue, with District of Columbia at the top in red letters and at the bottom is Inauguration 1973, also in red letters. On the left is the American flag flying in front of the Capitol Building. The Department of Motor Vehicles Registration number is 572, the condition excellent. This single plate would make an excellent addition to a DC or any license plate collection or birth year run. The picture shows the actual 1973 DC Inaugural license plate that is for sale.
