1946 New York license plate
An antique 1946 New York car license plate for sale by Brandywine General Store. The 46 NY DMV auto tag is black on yellow with the expiration date along the bottom. The state of NY only issued a single tag during the 1946 year of manufacture for drivers to use on the back of their vehicles. This was probably still from the effects of the metal shortage because of World War II. The Department of Motor Vehicles registration number is W-69-59, the condition very good.
