1944 New York License Plate
An antique 1944 New York WWII License Plate, this '44 NY tag is yellow in color with black letters with a simple design of NY 44 both at the top. Due to World War II metal was in very short supply, so due to this the NY DMV only issued a single tag during the year of 1944 for the state's motorists to use on their automobiles. We have a couple of these 1944 New York license plates available for sale at Brandywine General Store, but we have included a picture of each that we currently have in stock.
