1943 Maryland License Plate
An antique 1943 Maryland passenger car license plate for sale at Brandywine General Store, the '43 MD DMV automobile tag is silver with black. The DMV expiration tab is at the top, these were used during WWII to conserve metal for the war effort. The department of motor vehicles issued pairs of plates during the model year of 43 since they sent out the very desirable metal tabs to put on the 1942 tags. We have more than one classic 1943 Maryland car license plate available for sale in our store but we have included a picture of each one currently in our inventory.
