WV Governor's Mansion a Side View Art Print
A Museum Quality Art Print of the WV Governor's Mansion a Side View for sale by Brandywine General Store. This scenic landscape shows an odd angle of the Executive's residence with a huge tree in the front that looks as if it is about ready to topple over onto the Mansion. However, this is an optical illusion from the camera lens and the bank. Like the Capitol Building beside this Mansion, it shows a strong Greek influence in it's architecture. Six huge towering Corinthian columns support the central portico where the main entrance is located. The ground floor of this opulent residence is mostly state rooms while the upstairs is for the Governor and his family. The Governor's Mansion is located in Charleston and the grounds adjoin the Capitol Building and all of the Capitol Complex sets right in front of the Kanawha River. Picture #386 an original West Virginia photographic print by Brandywine General Store.
