Woodburn Hall at WVU a Side View Art Print
A Museum Quality Print of Woodburn Hall at WVU a Side View for sale by Brandywine General Store. Woodburn Hall is the face of West Virginia University in Morgantown, however what you always see in all the advertisements for this college is the front of this building, not a side shot as in this print which shows the hall setting high up on the hill with shrubs and a wrought iron fence and brick wall underneath. Woodburn Hall is part of the WVU Quadrangle, it was constructed in 1876 at a cost of 41,500.00 which was funded by a state property tax. The architecture of this college centerpiece is red brick of the Second Empire style under a mansard roof, which is shown clearly in this view. Picture #446 an original archival photographic print by Brandywine General Store.
