A Museum Quality Print of Stalnaker Hall Behind the Fall Trees at WVU. This colorful scenic landscape picture shows the large building setting high up on the hill with trees in the front starting to show their fall colors in the city of Morgantown. Also showing are all the steps and walks leading up to Stalnaker Hall, giving the front part of the picture a maze like appearance. Stalnaker Hall was built in 1918 and was the first building built for the sole purpose of housing students on the WVU campus. This historic structure on the downtown campus was originally known as Woman's Hall but was later named for Elizabeth Stalnaker, professor of philosophy and psychology in the early 20th century.
