Shishkin Ivan - Morning in Pine Forest Art Print
An archival premium Quality art Print of Morning in a Pine Forest by Ivan Shishkin for sale by Brandywine General Store. This oil on canvas was completed by Ivan Shishkin in the year 1889 and is now at the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow. Shiskin is considered one of the best of the Russian Landscape Nature artists. He painted Morning in a Pine Forest, however the bears were added to the picture by the artist Savitsky, for which he received 1/4 of the proceeds from the sale of the painting. Later when the painting was sold, Savitsky's name was removed from the artwork and only Shiskin's remained. Despite all this, Morning in a Pine Forest is one of the most popular of the Russian paintings. The scene shows the Pine forest early in the morning with the sun just starting to shine through, a huge tree is downed from probably a recent storm and a family of bears are playing in the center of all this.
