Richmond VA Sixty Cents 1862 Obsolete City Change Scrip
A sixty cents Richmond Obsolete change note issued April 14, 1862 for sale by Brandywine General Store. This change scrip issued by the city of Richmond during the heigth of the Civil War states that the City of Richmond will pay to bearer on demand sixty cents when presented in sums of one or more dollars. A dog guarding a safe is in the top center. Our estimation of grade is fine, the back is plain and shows wear commensurate to the condition.
