Our archival civil war artwork features the front entrance side to the PA State Memorial on Cemetery Ridge under a beautiful busy sky. The grand monument was dedicated in 1910, however it was not yet finished due to lack of funds, but finally got completed in 1914. Here on Cemetery Ridge is where the Army of the Potomac stopped the advance of the Army of Northern Va during the Battle of Gettysburg. All around each of the 100 foot long bases are bronze plaques with the names of all 34,530 names of all the PA soldiers who fought here.
