A Museum Quality Print of the Odontoglossum Harryanum Orchid by Frederick Sander. This illustration was Tab or Picture number 49 in Fredrick Sanders book about orchids, titled Reichenbachia with this print being published around 1890. This orchid blooms from summer to fall and is mid sized. In the wild it grows in Columbia at elevations of 2,000 to 7,000 feet and is found at the edges of the lower Montane Forests. It is a very fragrant orchid that requires constant water, moderate shade, moderate to high humidity and cool to intermediate growing conditions. It can be potted in an epiphyte mix. The inflorescence can reach up to one feet in length and bears up to 12 flowers.
