This Impressionist work of art was gifted to the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, Massachusetts by Denman Waldo Ross in 1906.The composition shows a rapidly running river running down between two steep riverbanks with both sides of the river being full of different colors. Large rocks are also evident on both riverbanks.
