Late Fall Scene from the Summit of Spruce Knob Art Print
Brandywine General Store
A Museum Quality Art Print of a Late Fall Scene from the Summit of Spruce Knob. Spruce Knob, located in the rugged western section of Pendleton County West Virginia, is the highest peak in the state with an elevation of 4,860 feet. Fall comes early to this mountain peak as the temps are usually around 15 degrees cooler on average than the valleys below this mountain. This composition shows a late fall scene with most of the colors gone but still a beautiful scene with some red and brown leaves left on the trees that are mixed in with the greens of the one sided spruce trees that are so prevalent at these high altitudes. A lot of brush is in the foreground which also have an interesting color that adds to the appeal of this composition. Picture #342 and original archival photographic scenic landscape print by Brandywine General Store.
