Hondecoeter, Melchior de - Concert of Birds Fine Art Print
An archival premium quality art print of Concert of Birds painted by Melchior d'Hondecoeter in the year 1670 for sale by Brandywine General Store. The artwork shows a songbook which is being held up above a tree branch by two parakeets, while a huge owl is on the branch with the songbook. Standing on the ground in front of the songbook is a duck and other exotic birds are all around in this painting. Please keep in mind that even though we try to get the prints looking as good as possible, this one is going on 500 years old and has much cracking in the oil paints and other imperfections that can not be removed without ruining the vision of the original artist.
