A Museum Quality Botanical Print of the Superb Hibiscus which was originally published in the Curtis Botanical Magazine on January 01, 1797. This archival print shows a hibiscus with a large red bloom and has kept the antique botanical look. This plant was described as being a very superb species of hibiscus and a native of the New World in Carolina and was introduced to England in 1778. This shrub flowers in August on stems of up to several feet tall and the flowers are distinguished by their grandeur and richness of color.
