An archival premium Quality art Print of Mounted Indians Carrying Spears by Rosa Bonheur for sale by Brandywine General Store. The original oil on cardboard measured 14 by 19 inches in size and was completed by the artist in 1890 and is now located at the Buffalo Bill Historical Center. The two Indians depicted are Rocky Bear and Red Shirt, two prominent Lakota or Sioux who performed in Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show. She portrays the Indians mounted on horseback in an idyllic setting which is very similar to her painting of William F. Cody. The Indians also have their headdresses on with feathers and decorative shields, other Indians are following in the back that are barely visible. Blue wildflowers are scattered throughout the prairie grass with some mountains beginning in the background. Country Decor #158
