A fifty cents Jefferson Davis bust obsolete bill issued by the Central Government during the Civil War in 1864 for sale by Brandywine General Store. This note is designated PF-1 which means it is from the 1st series. The serial number is 26,768 with a D plate letter. Our estimation of condition to be used as a reference only is almost uncirculated with a nice pink tint and dark printing, some yellowing is on the left. Type 72 was the last note issued by the central government of the Southern States and features a bust of Jefferson Davis, the President of the Confederacy during the Civil War.
