A T-71 One Dollar Clement C. Clay obsolete bill issued by the Central Government during the Civil War in 1864 for sale by Brandywine General Store. This note is designated PF-1 which means it has both Engraved by Keating and Ball, Columbia SC as well as Lithographed by Evans and Cogswell plus it has no period before or after any plate letter. This variety is common and rated at R-1 in the Fricke reference book. Clement C. Clay was a Senator from Alabama during the Civil War.
