Richmond VA City 25 cents 1862 Change Note
Twenty Five cents obsolete scrip issued during the Civil War by the City of Richmond on April 14, 1862 for sale by Brandywine General Store. The plain obsolete note says the City of Richmond will pay to bearer on demand twenty five cents when presented in sums of one or more dollars. And this note is receivable for any dues to the city of Richmond. We have more than one twenty five note for sale but we have included a picture of each piece of the scrip that is currently in our inventory.
