$35.99

A 2001-S Vermont Silver Statehood Quarter certified perfect by PCGS at Proof 70 Deep Cameo. The design on the coin features sugar making, before the advent of cane sugar, the colonies depended greatly on Vermont for its sugar and syrups. In the background is Camel's Hump mountain, one of the highest peaks in the state. Vermont became the 14th state in 1791 becoming the first state admitted to the newly formed Union after the first 13 colonies. This coin is of course, silver in color, but modern proofs, even though among the most beautiful of the coins, with their glossy surfaces reflect all of the light giving them the black or brownish color when photographed. Rest assured that the coin you purchase will look great, it has to since it is in a PCGS 70 DCAM holder, which is the highest grade awarded by PCGS. Brandywine General Store has more than one 2001 -S VT Silver Statehood Quarter graded a perfect 70 by PCGS so you might receive a different PCGS certification number.
