1942 New Brunswick License Plate
An antique 1942 New Brunswick passenger car license plate for sale at Brandywine General Store. This 42 NB auto tag is black with yellow letters, at the top is the MOT expiration date. The Ministry of Transportation registration number is 22-799, the condition is very good minus. New Brunswick only issued a single tag for the province's motorists in the 42 model year so they could save on metal during the World War II years. There is some confusion on this though, some references say single plates were issued while others say pairs were issued.
