2009 Birth Year Coin Set
A 2009 Birth Year coin set which includes the Kennedy Half Dollar, US Territory Quarter, Roosevelt Dime, Jefferson Nickel and Lincoln Cent for sale by Brandywine General Store. These sets will be in uncirculated condition. Four new Lincoln cents were minted in 2009 in honor of the 200th year anniversary of President Abraham Lincoln's birth. The four different reverses on the cent were different stages of Lincoln's life. The first was Birth and Early Childhood which shows the log cabin he was born, Formative Years was 2nd and shows the young Lincoln taking a break from splitting rails and reading a book on his rest period, Professional Life was the 3rd design which shows Lincoln in front of the Illinois state capitol and represents his career in law and politics. The last cent of course is the Presidency which shows the partially completed Capitol dome as how it would have looked when Lincoln was the President of the United States. Our set will contain a random mixture of the cent reverses. This 2009 US coin set makes an excellent gift for birthdays or any other occasion.
