A T-68 obsolete ten dollar treasury bill issued by the Southern Central Government in 1864 during the civil war for sale by Brandywine General Store. PCGS has graded this note at New 62 with the premium paper quality notation. This type 68 treasury bill is designated PF-31, meaning it is from the 7th series and is R2 on the rarity scale which is not so common. This is among the rarer of the regular series numbers of which there are ten different series in the T-68 money. Type 68 obsolete civil war currency features horse drawn artillery in the center vignette. R.M.T. Hunter is on the right who served Secretary of State for the Confederacy as well as a Senator for awhile.
